Keyzapp utilises the latest technologies available. You can use QR codes and NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to manage your keys.
Key fobs have NFC tags embedded and QR codes attached so they can be easily read by computers and mobile devices. This means that people signing keys in and out do not have to navigate multiple screens or enter key IDs. The process is designed to be quick and simple. Once scanned or read, the data is instantly recorded in permanent and secure data storage.
QR codes are similar to barcodes; however they hold information both vertically and horizontally, allowing them to fit nicely onto a key fob. Your QR codes can be read via a scanner, your mobile phone or tablet pc.
NFC technology is similar to Bluetooth and Wireless, however near field communication utilises electromagnetic radio fields. When devices are in close proximity, it reads the information quickly.
